Six men 'caught having sex' in viral video arrested; lubricants recovered

Police in Jinja city, Uganda have arrested six men caught having sex in a viral video.
In the 17-second video, four of them were seen engaging in sexual acts and the faces of two men were visible.
Speaking after the arrest on Friday, Kiira Region Police Spokesperson James Mubi said the men were all found in one room in Mpumudde Ward, Northern Division of Jinja City.
"Three of the men serve the purpose of being women," Mubi added.
He further revealed that lubricants among other sexual objects were recovered at the scene.
"I appeal to the public to give us more information about other suspects. Police are playing their role, and the public should also do the same," the police spokesperson said, adding that the suspects would be arraigned anytime.
In Jinja alone, police have reportedly arrested eight homosexual suspects.

Under the proposed homosexuality law, persons convicted for identifying as or engaging in homosexuality could face up to 10 years in prison.
The legislators are expected to vote on the matter on Thursday, March 23.
