TikToker in hot water after posting own video defiling school girl in a lodging

A Ugandan TikToker, Joseph Ngoma, is in hot soup after he allegedly recorded himself sexually abusing a teenage girl.
Police say that Ngoma recorded himself in a lodging - in Mubende District - kissing the girl. Four days after the incident, Ngoma posted the said video on the social media platform.
Police spokesperson Fred Enanga says that Ngoma went into hiding after committing the offence, but he was arrested from his hideout in Kitintale, Kampala.
Preliminary investigations have revealed that the teenage girl left her home on the suspect's bodaboda on May 4, 2023 for coaching. Upon reaching Madudu Trading Centre, however, Ngoma reportedly came up with an excuse that would see him branch off and pick up his personal items from his home.
'Forcefully dragged into a lodge'
"They rode a distance of about 100 meters along Mubende-Madudu Road, where they stopped at a lodge. The suspect instead got a room and lured the victim to help him carry some of his properties for him. The victim was forcefully dragged into the lodge, where the suspect recorded her inside, calling her his wife. He went on and defiled the victim and told her to go back home,” Enanga said.
The TikTok video went viral and elicited debate on social media platforms, catching the attention of the victim's mother who reported the matter at Mubende Police Station.
Consequently, the victim recorded a statement with the police and led them to the guest house where the crime took place at Ngabano Village, Madudu sub-county in Mubende District.
Police have also arrested the lodging facility's attendant, who will be charged with one count of procuring defilement.
