Singer Karun & Margaret Nyareira among Kenyans in Forbes top 30 Under 30

Forbes Magazine has released its 5th edition of the 30 under 30 list. The list honours various accomplished, young artists, entrepreneurs and tech stars across the continent.

The list was announced at the annual Forbes Africa Under 30 meet up which took place at the Haughton Hotel in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Four Kenyans made it to the business category. The 28-year-old Sadaam Suleiman, Co-founder and Managing Director of Dragonfly Limited, 29-year old David Kyalo, Founder and CEO Koncepts and Events Limited and 27-year-old Shirlene Nafula, Founder and CEO Crystal River productions and Kimani Adam who is the co-founder and CEO of Nature Expeditions Destination Management.

The sports category saw 5 Kenyans make it to the list with most of whom are track and field athletes. Emmanuel Korir, 24, Beatrice Chepkoech 24, Faith Kipyegon, 25, and Margaret Nyareira, 23. 21 year old Alpine Skier Sabrina Simader also made it to the list.

Singer Miss Karun, Producer, Director, Writer & CEO of Rocque pictures Kevin Njue and 28 year old Fashion Designer Yaa Bonsu are the Kenyans who made it in the Creatives category.

Jacob Rugano, 29, Co-founder and Director of Africar Track international and Diana Esther Wangari, 27, Co-founder and Chief Medical Officer of Sagitarix made it to the Tech category. Odyssey CEO Eric Muli and Lake Hub Director Dorcas Owinoh also made to this list.
