Nick Ndeda and Muthoni Gitau spent seven years together before they called it quits.
Both had expressed their disinterest in having children.
She explained, “At this point, we are going our separate ways. After seven years, this feels like the best decision for both of us.
The plan is to grow and heal as individuals as we evaluate what we want moving forward.”

However, Muthoni has now made her child-free choice permanent by undergoing a procedure to tie her fallopian tubes.
She shared the experience, describing the pain she endured, but confirmed the surgery’s success as she continued to heal.
In a new YouTube video, Muthoni detailed her experience.
The procedure, originally scheduled for 30 minutes, took an hour.
The medical team prepared them for some discomfort, explaining the process thoroughly and obtaining consent.
Muthoni, known for her pain tolerance, admitted the pain reached a severe level during the procedure.

Despite the pain, she assured her viewers that the surgery was a success, and she was currently in the process of healing while closely monitoring her body.
Muthoni expressed her satisfaction with her decision and encouraged people to respect women who genuinely opt not to have children.
She also offered a strong word of caution to men who pressure women to have children as a testament to their legacy.
“You are unemployed or barely making ends meet, relying on your mother for food sent from the countryside just to survive in Nairobi.
What legacy are you talking about? A legacy of poverty?” she pointedly added.
Muthoni’s words carry a powerful message about individual choices and the importance of respecting them, especially regarding the decision to have or not have children.
