North Korean strongman Kim Jung Un cries while asking women to give birth more

Kim Jung Un has passionately pleaded with the women in North Korea to have more children to address the country’s population decline.

The Leader was seen dabbing his eyes seemingly trying to whip off his tear in what looked like a choreographed emotional plea to thousands of women before him.

However it looked like the vulnerability of the authoritarian got to the women who were crying alongside their leader.

The somber affair was during the National Mothers meeting held for the first time in over a decade.

This becomes the fourth time Kim has shed tears publicly , first during the funeral of father and predecessor , during the 70 anniversary of the Korean Army and when he was addressing the nation over failures.

“Preventing a decline in birth rates and good childcare are all of our housekeeping duties we need to handle while working with mothers,” said Kim during event as reported by the Daily Mail.

Kim also went ahead to ask parent to instill values of the communist party in their children.

In the last population census carried out the population of North Korea was estimated at 25.7 million however its hard to know the correct number of people given that statistics from the correctly are hardly disclosed.

The North Korean government has recently discovered that the country’s fertility rate has been declining in the last 10 years.

According to South Korea’s government statistics agency, North Korea’s total fertility rate, or the average number of babies expected to be born to a woman over her lifetime, was 1.79 in 2022, down from 1.88 in 2014.
