NSL:SS Assad FC and Dimba Patriots FC penalised for failing to honor matches

The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Leagues and Competitions Committee has delivered its verdict on the disciplinary cases involving SS Assad FC and Dimba Patriots FC following their failure to honor fixtures in FKF National Super League Round 17, played last weekend.

Disciplinary Actions

SS Assad FC has been docked 3 points and 2 goals for failing to honour their away match against MOFA FC, scheduled for Saturday, January 25, 2025. Meanwhile, a stiffer penalty was handed to Dimba Patriots FC, who faced a deduction of 6 points and 4 goals after failing to honour their home fixture against Samwest Blackboots FC, initially set for Sunday, January 26, 2025.

FKF’s Commitment to Discipline

The FKF emphasized its dedication to maintaining discipline and upholding the integrity of the league by ensuring that all teams adhere to match obligations as outlined in the league regulations.

The federation reiterated that such measures are necessary to foster professionalism and commitment among participating teams, safeguarding the competitiveness and credibility of the FKF National Super League.
