The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) says the will be arraigned on December 27 2023 to answer charges of risking lives of passengers, violation of traffic rules and operating unroadworthy vehicle in the name of PSV.
Murkomen’s warnings
Transport Cabinet Secretary (CS) Kipchumba Murkomen has consistently warned PSV operators and motorists at large against violating traffic rules.
“It takes care and responsibility on the part of all road users to address challenges presented on our roads. I call upon all of us to continue speaking out against such vices,” CS Murkomen says. “Do not allow a reckless driver to take away the lives of innocent road users.”
The CS encouraged all Kenyans to be vigilant and report incidences on roads.
“With a united voice, we can end the needless loss of lives on our roads.
