It’s a sigh of relief for The Kenya National Youth Service (NYS) graduates as the organisation announced 900 job vacancies in the Middle East -United Arab Emirates.
On Monday, NYS announced that there are career opportunities highly recommended for graduates in the United Arab Emirates.
”We, notify our esteemed NYS Graduates, of exciting career opportunities in the United Arab Emirates,” read the post.
”Working in an established award-winning global leader in shipyard and maritimes industry, our graduates will not only be seeking employment but also get an opportunity to showcase and grow their talent.”
The 900 job opportunities have a ranging salary from KSh.69,000 and KShs.163,000.
The statement issued by NYS on January 15 provided information on the application process, deadlines, and minimum qualifications required for the job application.

Available NYS job positions
Pipe Fitters are required to sought 100 positions, with an earning of KShs.69,329.
The Pipe Welders as well have 100 positions to fill with a salary of KShs.69,329.
Plater Fabricators and Welder FCAW have 100 posts each also getting an earning of KShs.69,329.
However, Welding Foremen and Plater Foremen will be required to fill 40 post each and earning KShs. 130,700.
Lastly, Piping Foremen have 20 posts and will get a salary of KShs. 130,700.

Additional opportunities include roles such as blaster painter (100), foreman mechanical (50), foreman rudder and propeller (20), mechanical fitter (150), and rudder and propeller fitter (80).
