One person is dead and another injured after Principal Secretary for MSMEs Susan Mang’eni was involved in an accident at Korinda, Busia County.

The Monday, October 16 evening accident occurred when her vehicle rammed into a motorcyclist.

Confirming the incident, Busia County Commissioner Kipchumba Ruto says the motorcyclist died on the spot.

PS Mang’eni sustained injuries after being hurt by the impact of an airbag.

The PS is currently receiving treatment at a hospital in Busia.
