The Kenya Simbas will face Algeria at 2:00pm on Wednesday 24th July at the Nelson Mandela Stadium. Head Coach Jerome Paarwater has retained his starting line-up and made one change in the reserves from the squad that won against Senegal on Saturday at the same venue.
“After Saturday’s game, we did a lot of reviews to see where we could better our plays and also with the team having not had a match for over eight months, they’re getting more comfortable with the plays as we head into the semifinal tomorrow. The way we want to play tomorrow will show because we’ve worked on our set pieces and the execution as well as maintaining the possession.” said Jerome.
Regarding the team selection, we have retained the starting line up and we will get more game time to the guys on the bench tomorrow. Michael Wanjala is the only new player joining the match day 23 as Obat Kuke drops out completely.
