Controversial pastor Ezekiel Odero has raised concerns about the impact of expensive rings on modern marriages and wedding events.
He has gone on to state that during a wedding, the cake is for all and the food served is for the gossipers.
The rabble-rouser pastor from the New Life Prayer Center church in Kilifi County engaged with his congregants during a recent service.
He picked out a lady from his congregants and inquired about the price of her ring.l
Shockingly, Pastor Ezekiel compared the ring he purchased for his own wedding to his wife, Sarah.

Ezekiel’s ring
Ezekiel revealed that he had acquired his wedding ring for a mere 15 Kenyan shillings, and his marriage has endured to this day.
In contrast, the female congregant had purchased a ring worth over 18 thousand shillings, yet her marriage was almost nonexistent.
“I bought my wedding ring for only 15 shillings,” Ezekiel stated.
Pastor Ezekiel emphasised that before wearing the physical ring, he had received a spiritual ring from Go.
He said that the spiritual ring had kept his marriage thriving this far. He emphasized that this spiritual ring, though intangible, is invaluable.
“A spiritual ring was placed on me that has preserved my marriage until today, and that spiritual ring is expensive, make no mistake about it,” Ezekiel emphasized.

Advice on Marriage
Pastor Ezekiel’s advice to those contemplating marriage was to first dedicate themselves to God before embarking on the journey.
Ironically, he also expressed confidence that his church, New Life Prayer Center, possessed a unique anointing for this purpose.
“Some people are delighted to have lavish weddings and expensive rings, but I say to you, laugh if you want.”
Pastor Ezekiel went on to urge married couples to make sure they attend his church if the marriage is to succeed.
He highlights that a wedding is an event, the cake is for the wedding guests, and the food is for gossipers.
