Pastor Ng’ang’a blasts believer for giving him Ksh 500 offering

Controversial city preacher Pastor James Ng’ang’a has once again stirred controversy by criticizing a believer who gave him a 500 Kenyan shillings offering while requesting prayers for his family.

In a widely circulated video clip on social media, the leader of Neno Evangelism Centre sharply rebukes the believer for what he perceives as a meager offering.

He expresses his dismay, saying, “Yesterday, another person gave me only 500 shillings and asked me to pray for his children and grandchildren. Five hundred shillings? How can I effectively remember them with such a small amount? Five hundred?”

According to Pastor Ng’ang’a, this amount is insufficient to make any meaningful impact, and he advises believers who offer such meager donations to seek spiritual replenishment elsewhere.

The preacher adds, “You can’t even fuel your car with 500 shillings, maybe it’s enough for those with motorcycles. What kind of worship is that? If you want such services for 500 shillings, you should visit the witchdoctors in Nairobi, the ones who talk about planting seeds.”

Pastor Ng’ang’a’s rant over high cost of living goes viral

A couple of days ago, Pastor Ng’ang’a did not hold back as he criticized the Kenyan government for what he perceived as excessive tax hikes.

In a fiery speech during a live church service at the Neno Evangelism headquarters in Nairobi, Ng’ang’a minced no words.

Ng’ang’a’s words were impassioned and direct: “Sometimes you are misleading this nation. I speak as a prophet. The economy is in shambles, and you keep burdening the people with taxes.”

Further, he even dared the authorities to shut down his church if they so desired.

“You raise taxes here and there, and when someone tells you that you’re closing churches, why don’t you come and shut mine down! Stupid!” he charged.
