Controversial city preacher Pastor James Ng’ang’a provided a snippet of his early marriage life, revealing how he was dumped by his then “come-we-stay” wife most unexpectedly.

Explaining to his congregants how some of his children came about, in light of his daughter’s appeal for financial help to treat her child, Pastor Ng’ang’a revealed how his ex-wife left him quietly and cunningly.

“We lived together for six months, and she got pregnant. Then she told me she was going to pick up her clothes, but she never came back. I saw the children when they were fully grown after being informed by her sister,” he said.

The Neno Evangelism Centre preacher provided this explanation during a sermon addressing the issue of his eldest daughter, Naomi Wangari Maina, who reached out to Kenyans for help.

Wangari appealed for financial assistance from Kenyans as she struggles to meet the medical bills of her six-year-old son, Jonathan Wise, who is battling a severe case of B-ALL Leukemia.

“I have children. Some respect me and others don’t. I see there is one who is saying I am the father. She has a sick child. She has flooded TikTok with videos, but she has not reached out to me even via a phone call,” Pastor Ng’ang’a said.

It is, however, not clear if the woman who left Ng’ang’a while pregnant is the mother of Wangari.

In 2020, Wangari’s family rallied together to launch a fundraiser Jonathan battled Bilateral Retinoblastoma, a rare form of eye cancer diagnosed just weeks after his birth on January 20, 2018.

For three years, chemotherapy sessions became a regular part of Jonathan’s life, leading to frequent trips to the operating theatre every three weeks.
