Pastor charging to bury the dead
Pastor Kagecha expressed his deep concern regarding the behavior of many individuals who tend to disregard the church during their lifetime.

The pastor took issue with the paradox where individuals squander their free time in bars.
Indulging in costly drinks while relegating their spiritual needs to others, particularly their mothers.
He remarked, “Wakikufa na gari kwa barabara, wanakuja kutafuta mhubiri amuzike na KSh 1,000. Mimi kama wewe sio mshirika wangu musikuje kunitafuta na mkija kama hamna 10k sikuji huko,” essentially stating that if someone is not a member of his congregation.
They should not seek his services unless they can afford his fee of KSh 10,000.

Hypocrisy in church
The clergyman underscored the inconsistency of rejecting the church during one’s lifetime and then relying on it solely for burial services.
He emphasized that this trend has a detrimental impact, especially on the younger generation.
Who may develop a negative perception of the church and its leaders due to such actions.
Pastor Kagecha’s stance has ignited a passionate debate on social media, prompting reflection on the role of faith and spirituality in people’s lives and the significance of valuing these aspects throughout one’s lifetime rather than only in death.
