Perth 7s: Vincent Onyala and Brian Tanga return to the Shujaa squad

Kenya’s Shujaa squad is set to participate in the Perth 7s tournament this weekend, with head coach Kevin Wambua making two key additions to the team. Returning from injury are Vincent Onyala and Brian Tanga, both of whom bring experience and leadership to the squad.

Coach & Captain Remarks

Coach Kevin Wambua is optimistic about the team’s chances, especially with the return of Onyala and Tanga.Co-Captain Samuel Asati emphasized the benefits of the team’s week-long residential camp, stating.

“Having the boys in one place focusing on training brought us together. The addition of Onyala and Tanga strengthens the squad significantly, both in leadership and gameplay.”
