Peter Mwangi, better known as Miracle Baby, a former gengetone and mugithi artist, is in desperate need of a blood donation.

The urgency is real, as his wife, Carol Katrue, reveals that he requires blood of type B+.

The artist has been embroiled in a relentless battle against a gastrointestinal condition for nearly five years.

Carol bravely shared the agonizing journey, recounting that Peter’s ordeal began in 2018 when he underwent his first surgery due to an intestinal obstruction.

Although he seemed to recover after the procedure, the affliction reared its head again in 2020, leading to stomach pains treated with over-the-counter drugs.

The situation took a harrowing turn in April 2022 when Peter experienced bouts of vomiting, seizures, and ultimately lost consciousness.

A scan revealed the return of the growth, necessitating another surgery with a hefty price tag of Sh300,000.

In a twist of fate, they decided to forgo the operation in 2022 based on the hospital’s advice that it wasn’t a growth but a minor twist in the intestines, treated with medication.

While the medication provided a temporary reprieve, January 2024 brought a devastating setback.

Peter’s intestines ruptured, forcing him into yet another surgery. The operation, though successful, left a grim aftermath. Carol shared, “The surgery was successful, but the intestine had burst.”

They have managed to wash, but he will be going to the toilet through a pipe, and some intestines have been left outside. After 6 weeks, when he recovers, he will go back to the theatre for the intestines to be returned inside.”

Through this arduous journey, Carol has been a constant source of updates for Peter’s fans, even dispelling a cruel online death hoax.
