Mumias East MP Peter Salasya has issued a warning to individuals he labeled as goons allegedly used by Kakamega Governor Fernandes Barasa to terrorize him.

In a video circulating on social media, Salasya recounted an incident where an encounter with the supposed youth resulted in the complete smashing of the rear window of his Land Cruiser, which he has since repaired.

“To Barasa’s goons, you came and attacked me, and I did not retaliate. You smashed my car’s rear window, yet again, I did not retaliate. I have forgiven all of you,” stated the MP.

The first-term lawmaker has now challenged any of those youths to confront him again, asserting his right to defend himself with lethal force.

Salasya emphasized that he is now a licensed firearm holder, and any alleged goon attempting an attack should anticipate a severe response, potentially involving opening fire at them.

“But next time, let someone dare me again. I am now a licensed gun holder. I will personally send you to heaven. Let it be known; I will defend myself in court,” warned the legislator.

Peter Salasya shows off more cash, mocks lawyer in Ksh500k debt case

Last week, Salasya took to social media to flaunt sums of money just days after the court ordered him to settle a Ksh.500,000 debt owed to businessman Robert Lutta.

The MP who is said to have borrowed the money on December 13, 2022, with an agreement to repay within two months, also mocked Lutta’s lawyer Edwin Wafula in the case that unfolded at the Kakamega Small Claims Court.

“I saw the silly lawyer who took me to court bragging to the public on social media about how he is going to attach my V8 Land Cruiser I bought at 12M and my other car just because of 500k. I have decided to add this cash to my pockets,” he said in a social media post.
