Kenya’s renowned actor, filmmaker and director, Phil Karanja popularly known as Phil Director has opened up about his divorce from Kate Actress, offering candid reflections during a recent appearance on the CTA, Cleaning the Airwaves Podcast.
The renowned filmmaker shared that the experience of parting ways with the celebrated actress, Kate The Actress served as a turning point in his personal journey, prompting deep introspection and self-awareness.
In the podcast, Phil Karanja urged individuals navigating the end of relationships to resist the urge to blame their partners entirely.
Instead, he encouraged focusing inward, examining personal flaws, and understanding one’s role in the breakdown of the union.
”Divorce has also taken me to that point of looking inwardly like what did I do wrong , where did I fall short, why did I miss this and this, what should I have worked on myself, what should I have improved, never ever gone on a blame game,” he said.
The filmmaker also added by saying he doesn’t want to be bitter and angry with the ex wife and he can’t channel his anger and blame to her.
