The Assumption of Office of Deputy President Committee is currently holding a meeting at Harambee House, Nairobi.
The meeting comes ahead of Friday, November 1 swearing in ceremony of Prof. Kithure Kindiki as the new Deputy President.
The committee, as outlined by Chief of Staff and Head of Public Service Felix Koskei, will prepare Prof. Kindiki’s for the swearing-in.
This comes shortly after a three-judge bench of the High Court on Thursday, October 31 lifted conservatory orders that had blocked the swearing in of Prof. Kindiki.
The Committee is chaired by Mercy Wanjau, the Secretary to the Cabinet.
