The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) has unveiled a new national team kit that has sparked mixed reactions among fans. The Harambee Stars will wear the new kits, which feature the national colors of white, black, green, and red, during the upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against Zimbabwe and Namibia, scheduled between September 6-10, 2024.
The team’s campaign will begin with a match against Zimbabwe on Friday, September 6, 2024, at Stade Mandela National Stadium in Uganda, followed by a second game against Namibia in South Africa on September 10.
Head coach Engin Firat will be counting on key players, including Stade Reims center-back Joseph Okumu, Eric Ouma, Collins Sichenje, Jonah Ayunga, and captain Michael Olunga, to lead the team in these crucial qualifiers.
