Grief has engulfed a village in Kiambaa Constituency, Kiambu County after two persons were killed by landslides caused by heavy rains.
The incident – which occurred at Cianda village – saw a mother and her six-week-old boy buried alive when their house was swept downslope.
Residents are now calling upon the Kiambu County Government to act swiftly and use disaster management fund to relocate the neighboring families as well as families living in the landslide-prone areas.
