Police in Baringo County have recovered 196 goats that bandits had stolen from Kapkomon village on Thursday, March 21.
The armed bandits raided the village at around 11:30 am and made away with unknown number of goats.
A multi agency team of National Police Service and National Police Reservists who were on patrol responded to the distress calls, leading to a heavy exchange of fire between the police and the suspected bandits.
Consequently, police recovered 196 goats and handed over the same to the rightful owners.
“No injuries reported on the side of Officers and Reservists,” the NPS says.
