The men’s and women’s marathon teams expressed their readiness to defend the Kenyan flag as defending champions in what they anticipate to be an exciting event. The team made up of six individuals arrived in Paris this morning ahead of the weekend marathon races, Kenya goes in to the competition as the defending champions.

The men’s team includes Eliud Kipchoge, Alexander Mutiso, and Benson Rotich, while the women’s team comprises Hellen Obiri, Peres Jepchirchir, and Sharon Lokedi.
