Peter Miracle Baby has vowed to make a fresh start after a tough breakup with his longtime partner, Carol Katrue.
The two had been together for over three years, sharing both personal and professional ties. But on Friday November 22, 2024 at night, they shocked fans with the announcement that they were no longer together.
In an Instagram post, Peter confirmed the split and told followers that he was no longer working with Carol. “For anyone who was calling me to book for Carol Katrue, we are no longer together!!! Thank you,” he wrote.
Carol also shared her own message, declaring, “Single!!! For bookings, DM me kindly. I am not working with anyone or under anyone.” Their relationship had always seemed strong, especially during the challenging times Peter faced with his health.
Over the past two years, he had undergone multiple surgeries, with Carol by his side, caring for him and their young son, Rhonix.
Despite these struggles, the couple managed to find a sense of unity, even releasing a gospel song together titled “Ndi Mwihia” meaning I am a sinner, which marked Peter’s commitment to his faith after a near-death experience earlier this year.
However, his journey of faith soon took a detour. Just weeks before the breakup, he was seen performing at a secular club in mid-November 2024, raising questions about his dedication to gospel music. Now, Peter is reflecting deeply on his choices and his relationship with God.
In a heartfelt post after the breakup, Peter asked for forgiveness, expressing regret for the times he strayed from his faith.
“God, please forgive me. I know I have embarrassed the work that you did for me when I had no hope for living in this world again. I know I have forgotten where you had demanded me to go… The hopeless people and all those that were yearning to know you. Instead of delivering to them, I got pride and thought I knew it all. Please forgive me for that, God,” he wrote.
With humility, he asked for God’s mercy and vowed to recommit to a life of service: “There’s nothing I’d do without you, God. Have mercy and forgive me. Lord, I’ve sinned. Without your grace, I always fall short. You are faithful to forgive me and cleanse me. I want to walk in righteousness and holiness – but I need your help.”
