Police in Nairobi are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a woman whose body was discovered on the roadside off Ngong Road in the Karen area on the evening of August 6.

The discovery was made by pedestrians who reported that the body appeared to have been there for some time, raising questions about the events leading up to her death.

Upon arrival at the scene, investigators noted that the body bore no visible injuries, leading them to suspect that the woman may have been murdered elsewhere before her body was abandoned.

Among the items recovered near the victim were a kitchen knife, a pair of rubber shoes, a red scarf, and a clutch bag, all of which may hold clues to the investigation.

The victim, believed to be approximately 50 years old, has not yet been identified, and authorities are working diligently to piece together her identity and the circumstances of her demise.

Nairobi police chief Adamson Bungei emphasized that investigators considering various theories, including murder, natural causes, and even suicide.

“We do not know what happened for now. We are open to all theories,” he said

As the investigation unfolds, police are appealing to the public for any information that could assist in solving this case. The body has been transported to the mortuary for further examination and autopsy.
