Beatrice was detained briefly before being released on Sh100,000 police cash bail. She was linked to facilitating Kang’ethe’s escape from police custody.

DCI sleuths picked Beatrice from her house in Kiambu on Friday morning as she was preparing breakfast.

She was arrested after phone records revealed that she was in communication with Kang’ethe days before he escaped from Muthaiga Police Station.

The suspect is believed to be hiding in Nairobi as police say he is using mobile phone numbers registered by relatives.
