Suspect in the brutal murder of Narok woman re-arrested

National Police Service NPS Officers from Lolgorian Police Station and their DCI Transmara South colleagues re-arrested one 46 year old Patrick Mujitwa, a suspect in the murder of a 45 year old female identified as Sarah, at Kilae Sub-Location, Moyoi Location in Narok County.

He was initially arrested by members of public who tied him with a rope.

Police found the body of the woman lying in a pool of blood with multiple deep cuts on the head, a deep cut on the right hand at the elbow, a cut on the abdomen and a deep cut on the right leg.

Some of the exhibits recovered from the suspect’s compound include a pair of gumboots, a slasher and a crowbar, all stained with blood.

The body is at Lolgorian Level IV Hospital awaiting autopsy, while the suspect is in police custody pending arraignment.

The National Police Service thanked the members of the public for their collaboration which led to the arrest of the suspect.

Meanwhile detectives are still investigating the gruesome murder of Jomo Kenyatta University o Agriculture and Technology Student Rita Waeni.

As of now, the main cause of Rita’s death has been established to be strangulation.
