Ghanaian gospel musician and preacher, Sonnie Badu, has ignited discussions online with his thought-provoking advice to men regarding their relationships with women.

In a video shared on February 23, 2025, the renowned minister stressed that for a man to truly prosper in life, he must exercise caution and wisdom when dealing with women.
He went on to claim that some women possess a remarkable ability to deceive while maintaining a composed exterior.
“The first rule to prosperity in life is to fear women,” Sonnie Badu stated.
“A woman can poison you and still smile at you. Women are far smarter than men. Even if you cheat, she will know—because women are like detectives.”

Words that cut deep
While acknowledging that both men and women are capable of wrongdoing, Sonnie Badu emphasized that women’s greatest weapon lies in their words.
He explained that unlike men, who tend to react physically, women can leave lasting emotional scars with what they say.
“A woman can look at her husband and say, ‘You are good for nothing,’ and even after 20 years, he still hasn’t forgiven her for those words,” he said.
His statements have sparked mixed reactions, with some agreeing that women possess a unique emotional intelligence that can be both nurturing and dangerous,
while others feel his words paint an unfair picture of women.

I fear no human only God. Treat her right and there will be no need to fear her.
This is sad but true. Keep her as close to God as possible so you get her best version because when she deflects 9/10 you will follow her to go serve whatever she has chosen next
Men, listen and learn ❤️❤️❤️
Despite the debate, Sonnie Badu’s message appears to serve as a cautionary reminder for men to be discerning in their relationships.
Ensuring that trust, communication, and respect remain at the heart of every partnership.
