President Joe Biden’s dog has bit a United States Secret Service agent at the White House, according to the CNN report.
This is the 11th known dog-biting incident involving the two-year-old German Shepard, named Commander at the White House.
“Yesterday around 8 p.m., a Secret Service Uniformed Division police officer came in contact with a First Family pet and was bitten,” USSS Chief of Communications Anthony Guglielmi told CNN.
Guglielmi added that the medical team responded on time to save the security officer.
At the same time, the injured secret service officer has told Guglielmi that he received medication and is now doing well.
In another incident reported by CNN in November 2022, commander attacked a secret service agent at the White, leaving him with serious injuries on his thighs and arms.

Initially, the White House had reported that President Biden had taken the dog for further training in an attempt to reduce the risk of biting people.
On the same note, Elizabeth Alexander who is the communications director for the US First Lady had earlier released a report indicating that the President is committed to helping the dog adapt to the nature of White House grounds.

According to the security procedures at the White House, Secret Service agents are not responsible for handling the first family’s pets, but they can come into frequent contact with them.
“This isn’t a Secret Service thing but a workplace safety issue,” former USSS agent Jonathan Wackrow told CNN.
Wackrow added that what is happening with the dog was a serious issue at the White House because it has occurred several times.
