Former Kisii Deputy Governor Joash Maangi, who was nominated by President William Ruto as a CAS, has landed an ambassadorial job.
In President Ruto’s latest appointments, Maangi has been posted as Kenya’s ambassador to Kampala, Uganda.
Former Kisumu Senator Fred Outa, who had been picked as a Chief Administrative Secretary (CAS) in the Ministry of Mining, is now Kenya’s ambassador to Cairo, Egypt.
Former West Mugirango MP Vincent Kemosi has also being picked as Kenya’s ambassador to Accra, Ghana. Kemosi had been appointed CAS in the Ministry of Trade and Industry.
Former Baringo County Speaker David Kiplagat Kerich is now Kenya’s ambassador to Washington DC, USA. Kerich had been appointed as a CAS in the Ministry of Mining and Blue Economy.
The courts declared the CAS positions as unconstitutional, null and void, and these nominees never assumed office.
