The couple previously had a lavish traditional wedding ceremony in 2019.

President William Ruto served as the chief dowry negotiator.

Having been devoted to each other for an extended period, Carol and David Samoei officially tied the knot in 2019.

Their earlier traditional ceremony was attended by family members.

Including Ruto’s sisters and the First Lady, Mama Rachel Ruto. Ruto’s kids and their cousins also lent their support to their uncle during this special occasion.

The opulent white wedding stirred conversations on social media, with many Kenyans extending their well wishes to the newlyweds for a blissful union.

In 2019, Ruto’s eldest son, Nick Ruto, organized a private ceremony at Legend Hotel venues to formalize his relationship with his partner, Evelyn Chemtai.

Mama Sarah, Ruto’s mother, took charge of the family during the ceremony.

The president and his wife, Rachael, wore matching African kitenge attire, adding a familial touch to the occasion.

President Ruto officially attained father-in-law status in May 2021 when he gave away his daughter, June Ruto, in marriage to her Nigerian fiancé, Alex Ezenagu.

The wedding marked a significant milestone in the family’s journey, further solidifying their bonds and celebrating new chapters in their lives.
