Popular American preacher Benny Hinn met First Lady Rachel Ruto and her team.

During one of his sermons, Pastor Finn revealed that Mrs Ruto flew to him in Orlando, Florida to request him to attend a nationwide crusade.

The crusade will be fully sponsored by the government of Kenya.

“Something amazing happened. The First Lady of Kenya flew from Nairobi with her team, just for one reason,” said Finn.

“To ask me to come back to Nairobi for a nationwide government-sponsored crusade.”

According to Finn, he was elated because this was a first. He told the congregation that Racheal Ruto was the first First Lady to invite him for a fully government-sponsored crusade.

Additionally he said a government sponsored crusade has only been held in Papua New Guinea.

Kenya to team up with Uganda

Mrs Ruto was also accompanied by Ugandan preacher Robert Kayanja.

According to Finn, the two countries intend to team up and hold crusades in both Uganda and Kenya.

“They want to do two crusades for each country, I said, OK, Lord, you still have more time for me,” said Finn.

Racheal Ruto prays for miracle

The First Lady made headlines during campaigns when she divulged that she prayed for impure borehole water until it became pure.

“So my husband, the Deputy President, went into a venture and bought very expensive purifying machines,” Rachel Ruto narrated.

“And that is what we have been doing, purifying the water all the time before drinking or using it.”

“And we kept changing the filters and that kind of thing. But the Lord kept reminding me about this word and what Elisha did.”

“And I wondered, suppose I go pray for this water, is it possible for it to be purified?”

“Recently, the purifying machines got a lot of problems, and I remember we spent a lot of money to buy and I had called my team from Eldoret to come and do it for us.”

“And just after one week, again the water was not clean. And our boy at the residence was getting very frustrated.”

“The other Wednesday, I went to the office for a meeting then I went for prayers then I thought let me go to the residence and see what is happening.”

“When I got there, the Lord reminded me about that water. You know what I did?”

“I went to the kitchen, took a bowl, put salt and went to the borehole and I decreed the words of Elisha. I went and said ‘this water will never be dirty again!’ And I sprayed the water around the borehole.”

“On Friday I went to the residence and noticed the water was looking different.

So I waited for the guests to leave and then I called the boy, I was like; ‘Shadrack, what happened to the water?’ He told me “Mum, I don’t know what happened to the water, the water is now clean.”

“I’m not even taking the water through the purification machine, I’m just pumping it from the borehole to the tank. And we started giving God thanks.”
