Radio 47, one of Kenya’s fastest-growing radio stations, is celebrating its second anniversary.
Marking two years of entertaining, informing, and connecting with audiences across the country.
Launched 13th March 2023 by Cape Media Limited an Affiliate of Mount Kenya University, the station has rapidly gained popularity.
Cementing itself as a leading voice in the media landscape.
The celebrations, held at the station’s headquarters in West End Park Court, Muthaiga North Rd, Nairobi together with staff, media personalities included:
Dr Ofweneke, Alex Mwakideu ,Liz Mutuku, Manucho the Young,
Evah Mwalili ,Emmanuel Mwashumbe , Fred Arocho , Mkamburi Chigogo, Billy Miya and Mbaruk Mwalimu Ali Hassan Kaluleni, and loyal listeners who have been part of the station’s journey.
In a speech during the event, radio 47’ presenter Dr Ofweneke expressed gratitude to listeners and advertisers for their unwavering support.

As part of the celebrations, the station unveiled new segments and special giveaways to appreciate its audience.
