The staff and crew of Kenya’s fastest-growing audio-visual Radio station, Radio47 is set to interact with residents of Kakamega, Kisumu, Kisii, and Kericho counties beginning Tuesday, October 17.
The highly entertaining roadshow will begin in Kakamega county and then snake to Kisumu on Wednesday, October 28 before landing in Kisii county on Thursday.
Radio47 was recently the winner of the People’s Choice Award (Bronze Winner).
The Cape Media Ltd-owned station scooped the bronze category at the 6th Annual Communication Authority KUZA Broadcasting Awards.

Radio 47 roadshow stops
On Friday, the Radio47 crew including Dr Ofweneke, Ali Hassan Kauleni, Fred Arocho, Emmanuel Mwashumbe, and Alex Mwakideu among others will link up with TV47 crew to bring you the best of Mashujaa Day from Kericho county.
It is the first-ever roadshow for the Radio station making it a milestone moment for the media giant.
The station has in the recent past brought onboard big names and quickly endeared itself to a majority of Kenyans.

Management statements
Speaking during the official flagging off of the roadshow, Cape Media Ltd -the company which owns Radio47 and TV47– Director of Operations Wilson Mbugua said.
“Mine is to officially flag you off, go meet people, have fun, connect with people and make sure that brand 47 is sound on the grassroots.”
Geoffrey Mongou, Radio47 Head of Radio shared his sentiments on this landmark development at the station.
“Tutarajie mbwebwe kali, tutarajie burudani kamili kutoka kwa watangazaji wetu na wrembo walio nyuma yangu na wengine wengi tukitamba na kutaratamba”
Among Radio47‘s popular shows is; Breakfast47 hosted by celebrity radio personalities of Mwashumbe and Mwakideu.
More shows include Mchikicho hosted by Mkamburi Chigogo, Baze47 hosted by Manucho, Maskani47 hosted by Mbaruk Mwalimu and Billy Mia, and Chemba hosted by Dr Ofweneke.
It is undeniable that Kenyans from the mentioned routes should expect a highly pompous roadshow.
Fans of the various shows on Radio47 will be treated to lots of spot prizes to be won.
