Radio47 and TV47 have been ranked among the most popular media stations in the country.
According to Media Council of Kenya (MCK) state of the media report 2023/24, TV47 — a new entrant — was among the top most-watched television stations in the country.
MCK CEO David Omwoyo, while reflecting on the report on Thursday, May 2 lauded the Cape Media-owned tv station for making such huge strides in an industry that is very competitive.
On the other hand, Radio47 — also owned by Cape Media Ltd — posted exemplary ratings in the report, joining the league of top 5 most popular radio stations in the country.
Launched in 2023, Radio47 was ranked 5th with 5%.
Radio47 boasts some of the most-popular radio presenters in the country, including but not limited to Hassan Kauleni, Fred Arocho, Emmanuel Mwashumbe, Alex Mwakideu, Beatrice Maganga, Eva Mwalili and Dr Ofweneke.
