The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Raila Odinga on Sunday February 4, 2024 led the membership recruitment drive at Kamukunji grounds in Nairobi.
Raila was accompanied by former Kakamega governor Wycliffe Oparanya, Kisii governor Simba Arati and other ODM leaders during the membership recruitment exercise in Nairobi.
Other leaders present included ODM secretary general Edwin Sifuna, Embakasi East member of parliament Babu Owino and Makadara MP George Aladwa.

This was after Raila launched the nationwide ODM recruitment exercise on November 11, 2023.
Raila has been to different parts of the country, leading other party leaders in recruiting new members into the party.

He had earlier revealed that the massive recruitment exercise is part of the preparations for the party elections to be held in March 2024.
“Members can register at the party branches across all constituencies in the country,” he said.
He added that the membership registration will be continuous at all ODM party branches in the country.
The ODM party leader also explained that those who may fail to locate party offices can register online by using the short code posted on the party’s X account (formerly Twitter).
