Orange Democratic Movement party leader Raila Odinga has lead a group of Azimio Leader in meeting the new British High Commissioner Neil Wigan.
Odinga was in the company of DAP K party leader Eugene Wamalwa and the National Assembly minority leader Opiyo Wandayi.
According to a statement from them the Orange Party the two leaders meet to discuss matters of historical ties between Kenya and Britain.
“Raila Odinga today held talks with the new British High Commissioner to Kenya Neil Wigan. They reflected on & lauded the long historical ties between Kenya & the UK.”
“Insightful first meeting with Raila Odinga today on democracy and politics in Kenya, and the historical relationship. I look forward to many more meetings.” Neil Wigan stated.
He also appreciated the spirit of the ongoing bipartisan talks between the government and opposition.

Neil Wigan replaced Jane Marriott who was moved to Pakistan after having served as British High Commissioner for four years.
He officially took up the mantle form Marriott in June of this year.
