Kenyan businessman Kennedy Rapudo has confirmed his separation from his fiancée, Kenyan socialite Amber Ray.
The famed socialite just gave birth to her child with Kennedy which she has been very public and open about.
Amber Ray had started dropping hints that things were not as merry as she normally painted them to be on her social media platforms
In a candid statement shared via his Instagram stories, Rapudo admitted to a regrettable incident
However, the details of his incident are that it occurred while they were both intoxicated.

Rapudo’s statement
He acknowledged the public speculation surrounding their relationship and chose to address it.
Rapudo stated, “There’s been so much activity concerning my marriage in the public domain these last couple of days.”
He continued stating, “Like any other marriage, we’ve had our moments of ups and downs, and ours isn’t perfect either.”
Eventually, Kennedy summarized “A lot has been said, but I’ve not had the strength to address it.”
He confirmed the rumours that he and Amber had indeed separated.
Kennedy explained that this was due to the incident in question, expressing deep remorse for what transpired.
He said, “Yes, we’ve separated over an incident that happened while we were both drunk on that night of the 13th of this month.”

Does he regret what happened?
Spilling more details Rapudo expressed regret stating “It’s an event that should have never happened and I feel very sorry and in deep regret that it happened.”
Kennedy shared his grief stating that he never imagined it happening, “mostly to the person that I swore to protect and love with all that I had.”
Rapudo stressed that this single incident should not define him as a violent person, as he is devoted to raising his two daughters and advocating against domestic violence or gender-based violence.

He accepted responsibility for his actions and issued a heartfelt apology to Amber.
He also expressed hope that Amber would have a change of heart and reconsider things.
The businessman emphasized that this one moment of weakness does not change who he is as a person.
“I am man enough to admit when I’m in the wrong, and on this particular incident, I was in the wrong. But it doesn’t change who I am.”
“I will continue to raise my children the best way I can and fight for my family off the media.”
“To the mother of my beautiful daughter, I am deeply sorry and sincerely regret my actions in that moment of weakness.” Kennedy shared.
