Renowned American Actress, Comedian, and Television Personality Caryn Elaine Johnson aka Whoopi Goldberg, has openly discussed her sexuality in a recent candid.

This comes after her former co-host made comments suggesting she exuded ‘lesbian vibes’ during their time together on a show.

Raven-Symoné, Whoopi’s former co-host on The View and herself identifying as a lesbian, mentioned that during their joint hosting of the ABC show from 2015 to 2016, Whoopi often emanated ‘stud vibes’.

During a recent episode of the iHeartMedia podcast titled ‘The Best Podcast Ever with Raven and Miranda’, hosted by Raven-Symoné and her wife Miranda, Whoopi clarified the misconception around her sexuality.

Reflecting on their time hosting The View, Raven-Symoné remarked, “Honestly, when I was around you on The View, I held so much affection for you.

I just wanted to be close to you all the time. But that feeling was also because you emitted lesbian vibes!” This lighthearted comment elicited laughter from the trio before Whoopi offered her perspective.

Addressing the topic, Whoopi shared, “Throughout my life, women have often posed this question to me. I am not a lesbian. Nonetheless, I have numerous lesbian friends, and I’ve maintained these friendships because they’re my friends, plain and simple.”

Symoné commended her former colleague for her openness and the way she authentically presents herself.
