Kitutu Chache North MP Japheth Nyakundi has appealed to President William Ruto to consider re-appointing fired Cabinet Secretaries (CSs) who were competent.
Commending the president for dissolving the Cabinet at Kiamogore area, the legislator claimed not all CSs failed his administration and deserved reinstatement.
Nyakundi further asserted that some CSs who were shown the door were negligent or dragged their feet in their responsibilities leaving the president to carry the heavy burden of steering the country alone.
He enumerated the efforts the president had made to lower the cost of leaving including appreciation of the Kenyan shilling against the Dollar.
The lawmaker assured the president of the constituents’ support on his move and said they would work closely with him for the country to realize faster development.
The MP was on a visit of development projects in the constituency where he launched a laboratory at Manyansi mixed secondary school.
He also commissioned eight classrooms at Nyandiba Primary School and laid a foundation stone for a storey building for classrooms at Geturi mixed secondary school respectively.
