Nollywood star Regina Daniels recently opened up to her fans about the journey that led her to marry 63-year-old billionaire businessman and politician Ned Nwoko.

Speaking during a live session on her social media, she addressed the rumors about her relationship, sharing some details that had never been heard before.

Regina shared that when she first met Ned Nwoko, she was actually in a relationship.

In her words, “I was going to visit my boyfriend. I was so angry, like, ‘Mum, why do we all need to go visit and go sightseeing?’ But when we got there, we met a cute man. Moral of the story: Your boyfriend should not stop you from finding your husband.”

Regina went on to reveal that she forgot she had a boyfriend when she saw Nwoko. She jokingly admitted that at the time, she had like 20 boyfriends, all serving different purposes. Although she chose Ned, her family initially didn’t approve.

Her mother, Rita Daniels, and the rest of the family were firmly against her marrying him. “When people think I didn’t have a choice or my mum forced me, they don’t know that my mum was against it. My whole family said no,” she shared.

Despite their concerns, she was confident in her choice. She made it clear that no one forced her into the marriage, emphasizing that the decision was entirely her own.

Regina Daniels is 24 years old and shares two sons, Prince Munir and Prince Khalifa, with her husband, Ned Nwoko.

The actress hinted that she will one day share the full story of their love journey with her fans. “One day, I am going to share our story,” she promised.
