Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen remains at the center of intense transfer speculations as the summer transfer window nears its close.
The Napoli striker has reportedly issued an ultimatum to Premier League giants Chelsea, signaling his desire to join the West London club.
Throughout the summer, Osimhen has been heavily linked with several top clubs, including Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, and Saudi Pro League side Al Ahli.
However, with the transfer deadline fast approaching, Chelsea and Al Ahli have emerged as the frontrunners for his signature.
Osimhen is reportedly eager to leave Napoli, particularly following Romelu Lukaku’s arrival. According to transfer expert Sacha Tavolieri, the 25-year-old striker has prioritized a move to Chelsea, contingent upon reaching an agreement on personal terms within the next 24 hours.
If negotiations with Chelsea do not materialize, Osimhen is prepared to consider Al-Ahli’s lucrative €120 million wage offer over four years.
Currently excluded from Napoli’s first-team setup, Osimhen is expected to depart the Italian Serie A club in the coming days. Since joining Napoli in the summer of 2020, the Nigerian international has scored over 85 goals during his four-year stint with the Partenopei.
