Five senators led by the host, Kitui Senator, Enock Kiio Wambua have slammed President William Ruto’s sentiments.
This was after he told the Catholic church heads to be factual.
His sentiments came after the Catholic church on Thursday stated that the country is not headed in the right direction.
Speaking while attending a church service at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Mwingi town, the senators said the president can ‘manipulate’ all other sectors but not the church.
The senators included the host, Kitui Senator, Kiio Wambua, Murang’a Senator, Joe Nyutu, Karungo Paul of Kiambu, Murango James of Kirinyaga and Kamau Joseph of Lamu.
