Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua — popularly referred to as Riggy G — on Friday, August 16 enjoyed his routine morning healthy walk and interacted with residents of the newest City in Kenya – Eldoret.
“The excitement was palpable in the warm hospitable, vibrant industrious residents who were already up and about their hustles,” Gachagua said.
The second in command exuded confidence that the zeal and hard work of Eldoret residents was an indication that they are ready to build and propel the socio-economic powerhouse to the next level of prosperity.
“We wish them well as they raise the profile and affirm Eldoret as the City of Champions in socio-economic and cultural front.”
DP Rigathi was among the guests who graced an event that saw President William Ruto lead the conferment of Eldoret municipality to a city status on Thursday, August 15.
