Algeria captain Riyad Mahrez has tied the knot for the second time with his long term partner Taylor Ward.
The couple which shares a 14-month-old daughter, Mila, tied the knot for the first time in a Muslim wedding on April last year in London.
Mahrez,32, and Ward, 24, are also set to have a third wedding next year at the same venue, The Londoner Hotel.
“Taylor and Riyad had their ceremony yesterday with their loved ones watching on. It was the legal ceremony before their proper wedding next year but they went all out at the Londoner – with a posh dinner after their vows for their family and pals,” a source told the SUN.
The couple was also joined by Mahrez’s first two daughters Ayla and Inaya Mahrez who were born by the Algerian’s ex-wife Ritah Johal whom he met in 2014 before marrying her after only four months.
The couple announced their engagement on Instagram in July 2021, with Riyad reportedly proposing with a £400,000 (KSh36 million) ring.
The sportsman popped the question during the couple’s luxury summer trip to Mykonos with their family and friends.
Mahrez joined Man City in 2018 in a deal worth £60million from Leicester, where he had played a central role in their Premier League title triumph in 2016.
The one-time AFCON winner then moved to Saudi Arabian side Al Ahli this summer in a deal worth £30million.
