Ruto blasts Raila for opposing talks with Judiciary

National NewsNews

President Willliam Ruto has slammed opposition leader Raila Odinga for telling chief justice Martha Koome not to dialogue with the executive over what the president termed as rot in the judiciary that is hindering his development agenda.

The president termed Odinga as hypocritical indicating that the talks between the three arms of government are meant to enhance the fight against corruption that has delayed development in the country.

Ruto further asked why the opposition does not want the talks between the executive and Judiciary to happen yet he held talks with them.

Speaking in Trans Nzoia County, when he commissioned the Kiptogot-Kolongolo water supply, President Ruto said leaders should be honest and sincere on matters of service delivery.

“Those who are opposed to talks among the leadership of various institutions are the ones who have been recruited by crooks, saboteurs and cartels. We want to say, shame on them,

“Anyone opposed to leaders meeting to explore ways of solving problems facing Kenyans is not even fit to lead a committee of a cattle dip,” he said

“I want to tell those who are frustrating efforts to ensure Kenyans get access to universal healthcare besides owning affordable and decent houses through courts that they will not succeed,” he added.
