Peninah Malonza, the Cabinet Secretary for Arid and Semi Arid Lands (ASALs) & Regional Development, has assured the people of Kitui and entire Ukambani region that the government will complete all projects promised during campaigns.
Speaking in Kitui Rural Constituency, CS Malonza reiterated that President William Ruto remains committed to delivering on his campaign pledges.
The CS was presiding over an exercise that saw locals affected by El-Nino rains receive relief food. She said that the Government will continue giving aid — including food and non-food items — to all affected residents.
She also inspected the construction work of Kwa Vonza- Kiusyani Road, where she said there’s an agreement to have the contractor back on site within a week for the tamarcking of the earmarked six kilometres.
CS Malonza added that she’ll push for the completion of the same road from Kwa Vonza to Kyandula area in Kitui South.
