Digital creator Sabato Sabato has come out strongly against female influencers who choose to alter their bodies through cosmetic surgery.
He believes these influencers set a bad example, especially for women who can’t afford such procedures. Speaking about influencers who undergo liposuction and other surgeries, Sabato expressed his concern about the negative impact on young women’s self-esteem.
“Wewe ulikuwa mnene ukaenda ukafanya liposuction ukapunguza mwili,” he said, addressing women who reduce their bodies through surgery. “What do you think ni message gani unapass kwa yule msichana ako nyumbani anakuwatch na ako na mwili kubwa haezi afford kwenda izo surgeries. Instead of you being a good example ujikubali Na huo mwili wako unaenda unachange mwili, unafanya self-esteem yake inaenda chini.”
Sabato feels that influencers who change their natural looks should be canceled. He thinks they are misleading young girls and causing harm.
“Na hawa influencers wanaendanga kufanya izi surgeries, we should cancel those influencers especially women,” he emphasized.
He also pointed out the contradiction of women complaining about body shaming while not embracing how they were created. Sabato urged women to accept themselves as they are, reminding them that God has a reason for making everyone different.
“Why are you going to reduce your body instead ya ukae vile Mungu alikuumba,” he questioned. “Alafu mnasema wanaume mnapenda body shaming women. Mungu anacreate watu different kuna watu wanene, wadogo na wafupi. Love yourself vile Mungu alikuumba.”
