Safaricom Telecommunications provider has announced a scheduled system maintenance set for Sunday, from 11 p.m. until 4 a.m. on Monday August 12, 2024.
In a statement, Safaricom informed customers that key services will be unavailable during this maintenance period.
The services affected include Lipa na M-PESA, Paybill, and Buy Goods.
The company also noted that access to international money transfers via Western Union, M-PESA Global, the M-PESA App, and the mySafaricom App will be intermittent during this time.
“To meet our promise to always offer worry-free superior customer experiences, we will be conducting a scheduled system maintenance on the night of Sunday 11th August 2024, from 11pm to 4am on Monday 12th August,” Safaricom stated.
However, the company assured customers that all other services, including calls, data, SMS, and all other M-PESA services, will remain available as usual.
“We apologize for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding as we work to provide you with best-in-class services.”
