Senator Enock Wambua slams President Ruto over ’empty promises’

Senator Enock Wambua has slammed President William Ruto over what he says is giving Kitui residents empty promises.

The Kitui senator says that President Ruto has given the county residents a plethora of pledges, but more than a year in office, he has fulfilled none.

The lawmaker now wants President Ruto to honor his promise to Tharaka ward residents where he promised KSh5 million for infrastructure development at Precious Blood Nthangani Mixed Secondary School in Mwingi North.

The head of state made the promise when he toured the area two months ago to issue tittle deeds at Ciampiu Market.

According to the school management, it is said the President first promised KSh500,000 to the school but during his recent visit, he said he would issue KSh5 million, stating the ‘the debt has now attracted fine’.

Senator Wambua now wants Ruto to honor his pledges.
